The Daily Buzz Unveils New Image Created by Students at Full Sail University

Winter Park, FL (PRWEB) January 23, 2010 -- The Daily Buzz (www.dailybuzznow.com), a nationally syndicated morning talk show owned by ACME Communications, announces today the launch of a new transitional look designed by two Full Sail University (www.fullsail.edu) students set to hit air Monday, January 25, 2010 nationwide.

The fresh look will include a new show open featuring the four hosts of The Daily Buzz, new lower-third, new animated bug, new segment opens, new weather elements and much more. Designed by Full Sail University Digital Arts and Design (http://www.fullsail.edu/digital-arts/overview.html) students, Dylan Roscover and Sean Martin, this upgrade is flashy, more vibrant and more 3-dimensional than the television show’s current look.

“Everyday we are faced with challenges due to our current economic conditions. I’m always observing the work of Full Sail students and roping in the highly talented ones. It’s a win-win for both parties. The students are offered opportunities while still in school to offer their work on real projects with a real client, and the show benefits from their fresh perspectives, new technology and innovative techniques,” said Steve Bailey, VP of Marketing and Promotions for The Daily Buzz.

The Daily Buzz relocated to the Full Sail campus in June 2007 and currently airs on 163 stations, including all of ACME’s CW Network affiliated stations and their My Network TV affiliate, The CW 100+ Cable Group, as well as many of the CBS-owned CW stations. The program currently reaches approximately 59 percent of U.S. households, reaching 67 million television households. The original and continual goal of the show is to reach younger viewers who had all but abandoned the standard morning news format. The morning show soon became a refreshing alternative that targeted this highly coveted demographic and features an informal programming style where hosts share their personal opinions, listen to viewer feedback on-air, and take a more lighthearted approach to today’s current events and hot topics.

“Tapping into the pool of talented students at Full Sail Univeristy who specialize in various disciplines of entertainment media is a strong asset to our show. My collaboration with the highly skilled design team and my Buzz designer, Tom Munz, has produced exceptional results.”

Due to the real world approach to education at Full Sail University which features a professional class structure of 8-12 hours per day and a 24-hour around-the-clock schedule that earned Full Sail the Most Innovative Program Award by the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges, welcoming The Daily Buzz to campus was a natural fit. “Offering students the chance to deliver professional quality work to a program such as The Daily Buzz while they are still building their craft is an amazing experience,” said Garry Jones, President of Full Sail University. “Having The Daily Buzz on our University campus has added a wonderful dynamic and we celebrate this new transition for the show. We are greatly proud of what everyone has achieved.”
